This spring I have been occupied mostly by the Eurovision Song Contest '07 preparations as well as the shootings of Perttu Leppä's "8 Days To Premier" romantic comedy. I've also been actively involved in a youth charity project called "All Of Us." Besides that I am releasing a new single called "Call Me" this month.
So, lots of interesting projects are in progress and I'm very excited to see which direction all this is taking me in the near future. Life is good! Thanks for all your support! Seriously! It's all about experiencing that somebody cares about what you do and possibly even enjoys some bits of it. That's what keeps me loving to do what I do!

Mikko Leppilampi, born 1978, is a Finnish actor and a singer. He was accepted to the Theatre Academy of Finland in year 2000. In 2003, Mikko landed his first lead role in a major Finnish motion picture "Pigs and Pearls," directed by Perttu Leppä. That role brought Mikko a Finnish Film Academy Award for Best Male Actor in 2004. Since then he has been working constantly in Finnish film, TV and theatre. In 2006, Mikko released his first solo album as a recording artist. Early this year Leppilampi was selected to host the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest.
